The server has officially been endorsed/supported by the CHS Esports team. As such, the placeholder disclaimer is no longer a disclaimer! I've put up a new Discord server, and I will be lifting all restrictions from the server. Please play and enjoy! Please..!
There will be a lot of changes, in the matter that people will be playing on the server now. That said, it's a busy time of year! So, please be sure to study between Minecraft sessions. The server will likely have a reset soon, so please join the Discord to vote on that. Anyways, I have college applications to work on... and homework..! yay! yay! yay! Lets all play on chscraft.
p.s. by endorsement, I mean that we're official... the CHS Esports time is not responsible for anything on this website. that said, go and consider joining! If you want. I'm not a part of it, they just endorse the server... But not anything said. Just the existence of the server. Thank you!!
Someone has been recruited! Two people, actually. This means, that in due time, the server will be going through the avenues to make it official! Yay! This is excellent, so more people can join and everyone can have fun. I'm really excited for this...
There are some bad things, though. I've learned there aren't just one, but TWO other servers that have been going on. Oh boy. I've got competition. But! But! This is the only one with a cool website, so at least I win in that regard :-). Anyways, expect big things soon!
Due to the way that the agreement with the esports team was made, the server has not been officially partnered. This is very sad. Very very sad.
We're still looking at a pathway to getting it done, but sadly the first option wasn't availible. Nobody replied to my message about wanting to do competitive minecraft... all you'd have to do is make a build. Just need a few people, since I'm not willing to do it...
Well, for now I'll be looking at alternative methods.
P.S. server down for a bit since i'm too busy with ACT prep to restart it sorry!
Nobody, not a single soul, thought that I'd have the server up tonight. I didn't think I'd have it up before the weekend, but I did. Today was one of my busiest days in a while... So much socialization... So much work... And still, I have so much to do... I only stopped because after 11:00pm, homework becomes an impossibility. I have college work to do! I have to study for the ACT next weekend! I have to ponder if the server will ever be approved by the school, and if I'll be able to share it! If not, what will I do!!!!
I added an image map plugin. I also added datapacks. I also turned the server on. The girl in the icon is Rena Ryuguu. I always like to put an anime girl as the icon, since it gives each run of the server a bit of a charm. Nobody cares but me, but the admin account will have a Rena skin soon. Please read Higurashi, it's a great story! (CHS non-approved. I wonder what legal disclaimer I'll have to put on the site, you all see the placeholder...)
Well, to anyone who's here before the server is CHS approved or denied, thank you! I appreciate everyone playing, and I wish everyone a great weekend. I'll be spending my time studying for the tests I have next week... AP Calc and AP Econ... and then the ACT... and then *shivers* college applications... Do you think I could put this on there, even though I only made it 'official' in the past... negative week? Or perhaps never.
p.s. i'm an idiot who forgot to push the site update until the morning after i wrote it
Oh yeah. Oh yeah. Set up the server (halfway). It looks like the closed opening will be on Friday or Saturday, with a bigger opening sometime next week. I need to get the server actually... uh... approved, pretty much.
The server doesn't have too many plugins, only three. We're starting mostly from scratch. pretty much vanilla. Nothing anyone will notice, so no worries. The map won't be up, for now, since I think the early stages of a server are far more fun without a map. Hehe. It's also a pain in the butt to set up.
The website is up! I'm very excited to get the server up and running, and I hope that it goes well. It should be up on Friday, if all goes well. I still need to get a sponsor and put it in the announcements...
I feel very bad for being unable to make the website compatabile for phones. It displays, at least? If anyone knows how, please message me. Please. Please. Please. Anyways, website is up! Yay! Now to get the server working... I'm busy tomorrow but it should be doable on Thursday.
